The name MAYA was first inspired back in 2020, drawing from the classic children’s anime Maya the Honey Bee. What began as just a fun idea slowly grew over the years into a shared identity, shaped by creativity and a passion for gaming. While the spark came early, MAYA Team truly began its work in 2025, setting out to develop unique content for players and communities alike.

Today, MAYA Team is a small hobbyist group dedicated to game-related projects, with a special focus on Minecraft plugins. Our goal is to design tools and experiences that bring something new to the table while keeping the fun and accessibility that gaming is all about.
